Celebrating its 19th year, the Salina Chamber of Commerce's Business Hall of Fame is proud to announce three prominent Salina businesspersons scheduled to be inducted into the 2023 class. They are Quintin Applequist (Historic Category 1946-1999); Mark and Julie Miller (Contemporary 2000 - Present); and Mike Beatty (Contemporary 2000 - Present).
The Salina Business Hall of Fame taskforce will also be recognizing an emerging entrepreneur in our community with the Spirit of Salina award. This is the 2nd year for this award to be given to an awardee that represents the "best of the best" in terms of overcoming obstacles, believing in their dreams, taking risks, and persisting as a small business owner. They embody an entrepreneurial spirit - the entrepreneurial spirit of Salina. This awardee will be named during the Business Hall of Fame induction ceremony!
The induction ceremony will be held Wednesday, November 1st, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m., at the Salina Country Club. Shingo Hanada, President of Kubota North America, will be the featured speaker.
