Barolo Grille

We relied on "Yelp" to help us select this downtown Salina, KS restaurant. We were not disappointed! We choose to sit at the bar for simplicity's sake after a long day of driving. The bartender couldn't have been more pleasant. Kara had a welcoming smile, was attentive and informative. Chilled salad plates are always a bonus, so starting with a refreshing Caesar side salad got us off on the right foot. The Jambalaya was a "10" in taste and bountiful in portion. A glass of "Hahn" Cabernet accompanied my dish. If you are looking for a delightful property in Salina, look no further than "Barolo Grille."

We had an awesome dinner experience and our waitress Mara, was great. We will definitely be back and recommend this establishment.

This restaurant was suggested to us by some friends back home for the next time we were traveling through Salina. We made a reservation for 3 about an hour before we arrived and had no trouble getting in. Our food was amazing! The sashimi plate was GORGEOUS--I don't know how else to describe it. We tried several different cocktails, all were very good. A surprising favorite was the blueberry habanero margarita. So yummy! Our service was GOOD. The decor and atmosphere were classy. It was an all around great evening. Thank you!! We will be back.

not a great night for Barolo Grill: 11/2 hour to get food with no mention when ordering that parts of the order not available, minimal attention from server and server with an "attitude" that she accused us of having for questioning length of time to get food and not informing us of parts being unavailable.

Food is fantastic! Last two times I've been they have run out of something on the menu, but other than that good food and cocktails.

Great food. We weren't expecting gourmet food in Salina but we were pleasantly surprised. Only wish they were in our home town. The only thing that we wouldn't recommend is the bread pudding which hasn't much flavor. It was also burnt on the bottom.
I think we may have gotten the end piece. But that said we loved the calamari, the seaweed with octopus salad, the jambalaya and the tenderloin. The side salad of gorgonzola was perfect.

The Flatbread was delicious and part of their Small Plate menu along with Poke Nachos. The seasoning on the flatbread was just right and it was crisp without being dry or greasy. A new favorite. There was plenty for 3! The Portobello Burger was so good on a onion bun with some sweet potato fries. Next time I'll try their rosemary fries! Service is outstanding! Save room for some Key Lime pie for dessert! It's delicious and has a lovely crust, obviously made with love!

We ordered the ribeye. A little over done but delicious! Came in for an overnight visit. Would definitely recommend this place Good service quite atmosphere
