Do you like live music, fun activities, celebrating with your friends, learning about local organizations, supporting equality and dancing the night away? Yeah, SO DO WE--and we have 2 great events on June 28th that combine all of these awesome things!!

Don't miss Gay Pride Salina's 2nd annual Pride Festival, 10am-4pm... at the Ramada Hotel. We have a jam packed list of local entertainers--there'll be singers, artists, musicians, a dance troop and our headliner, the Heart of America Men's Chorus. Beyond the main stage we have an incredible array of free children's activities--face painting, arts and crafts, and even an animal guest from Rolling Hills Zoo! Add in all the community information booths about our great local organizations and you're right--you really don't want to miss this day :-)

This Saturday, June 28th is the 44th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and in honor of their influence on the LGBT equality movement we'll be hosting the Stonewall Pride Dance, from 8pm-12am also at the Ramada Hotel. The dance includes a $5 cover charge, you must be 18+ to enter and 21+ to drink. Be sure to come early and get your glow paint on--all the better to see your rockstar moves on the dance floor!! (our limited glow paint supply will be distributed on a first-come first-served basis).
