Dreamnight at the Zoo provides a free evening at Rolling Hills  Zoo for children with chronic illness or disabilities. By invitation only, families of eligible children should contact their school district or service care provider.

                This annual event allows children with disabilities and special health needs the ability to visit the zoo with their families in an environment where the children feel more comfortable to enjoy the animals and special activities at their own pace in a safe, yet fun setting.                

Created in 1995 by the Netherlands’ Rotterdam Zoo, Dreamnight at the Zoo has grown to include 259 zoos and museums in 36 countries worldwide.  Rolling Hills Zoo held its first Dream Night in 2005 and is currently one of only two zoos in Kansas that is an official Dreamnight at the Zoo partner.
