The Bill Fekas and Family Christmas Dinner is set for 11am to 2pm Christmas Day at the 4-H Building in Kenwood Park. The meal is free to the public, but donations to help with costs will be accepted at the door. Donors also may contribute in advance by sending checks in care of Fekas Christmas Fund, PO Box 2173, Salina, KS 67402-2173. All donations go directly to the dinner. Enough food is purchased to make 5,000 dinners and all leftovers are donated to the Salina Rescue Mission.
Menu: Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Green Beans, Stuffing, Rolls, and Ice Cream.
Those wishing to volunteer may call 785-827-6262. To have a dinner delivered, call 785-826-6531 or 785-826-6532 from 6:00am until Noon on Christmas Day only. Carry-out orders are not allowed.
