Coming soon to the historic Stiefel Theatre of the Performing Arts marquee: Lyle Lovett & John Hiatt (Oct.22) and Straight No Chaser (Oct. 27). The Salina Parks and Recreation Department invites you to become part of the annual community Halloween Party at the Salina Bicentennial Center October 24. The best live theatre between Topeka and Denver can be discovered at Salina Community Theater, with "Becky's New Car" on their main stage for October. From galleries to exhibitions to an eclectic public art collection and great films, Salina IS about the arts.  Salina Art Center is nationally acclaimed for their exhibitions and programming. The Art Center Cinema features cutting-edge films every evening. Public art is accessible across the community on thoroughfares and buildings, in parks and alleyways. SculptureTour Salina unveiled their 2015 exhibit downtown, featuring 25 sculptures on loan from across the country. The Yesteryear Museum is always a surprise for visitors who explore their agricultural related exhibits. Learn about this region at the Smoky Hill Museum now proudly featuring the exhibit "The 1960s Part I: Political Power", along with their permanent exhibit celebrating the settling of this region.
